Contact
Corrections get priority. If a number here is wrong, we want to know before your accountant does.
We read everything and usually reply within a couple of days. There is no contact form here on purpose: a form would mean collecting and storing your details, and we would rather not hold any.
Reporting an error
The most useful report includes the page you were on, the numbers you entered, the result you got and the result you expected. If you have a source for the correct figure, include it — we will check it against the primary document and, if you are right, fix it and note the change on the sources page.
Asking for a state
States are being added one at a time as each is verified. Telling us which one you need genuinely affects the order they get done in.
What we cannot do
We cannot give personal tax advice, review your return, tell you what to put on your Form W-4, or answer questions about your specific circumstances. We are not accountants and it would not be fair to you to pretend otherwise. For that, speak to a qualified tax professional or contact the IRS directly.
