The short version

We do not ask for your name, your email address or an account, and the numbers you type into the calculators never leave your device. There is no server to send them to.

Information you enter into calculators

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Salaries, tips, hours and filing statuses are processed locally and are never transmitted to us, stored by us, or shared with anyone. Closing the tab discards them.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical data needed to deliver pages: IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps. This is used for security and aggregate traffic measurement, not to identify individuals.

Cookies and advertising

This site displays third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You may also opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies and collects standard technical data such as approximate location, device type and referring page.

Nothing you enter into a calculator is ever sent to Google Analytics. Salaries, tips, hours and filing statuses are processed only in your browser and are never recorded as events or shared with any analytics provider.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information, there is generally nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete. If you are a California resident under the CCPA, or in the EEA or UK under the GDPR, and you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will respond.

Children

This site is intended for adults managing their own pay and taxes. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
